Physical Chemistry  --  Chemistry (Department Of) (CHEM) 120B [3 units]
Course Format: Three hours of lecture per week.
Prerequisites: 4B or equivalent; Mathematics 53; Mathematics 54 (may be taken concurrently); Physics 7B or 8B.
Description: Statistical mechanics, thermodynamics, equilibrium and applications to chemical systems: states of matter, solutions and solvation, chemical kinetics, molecular dynamics, and molecular transport.
